Itinerary

Day 1


Santiago de Chile

Arriving into Santiago de Chile explore the city at your leisure and start experiencing Chile!

Day 2


Santiago - Calama - San Pedro de Atacama

Today your tour of Chile starts in full! Fly to Calama and take a transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Here you will do a city walking tour followed by a visit a natural wonder, the driest place on earth, Moon Valley. With its dunes, caverns and sharp peaks, you will see this moon like scene.

Day 3


San Pedro de Atacama

This day includes visiting the expanse of the salt flats, the heart shaped lake of Lagunas Miscanti and the villages of Meniques and Toconao.

Day 4


San Pedro de Atacama

A day at leisure to rest or to participate in the optional tour to El Tatio Geysers.

Day 5


San Pedro de Atacama - Calama - Santiago

After breakfast transfer to Calama for your flight back to Santiago. Upon arrival in Santiago visit the cities major sites in a city tour.

Day 6


Santiago de Chile

You have seen a lot as part of this tour, today is a day of leisure. Or choose to participate in the optional tour to visit the nearby coastal villages of Viña del Mar and Valparaiso.

Day 7


Santiago de Chile - Mendoza

Truly experience Chile by taking the public bus from Santiago de Chile across the Andes to Mendoza in Argentina.

Day 8


Mendoza

While in Mendoza visit this famous wine region and in the afternoon choose the optional half day tour.

Day 9


Mendoza - Buenos Aires

Today you are on the move. Take a morning flight to Buenos Aires in time to explore the city in the afternoon. A city Afternoon tour will introduce you to the colourful La Boca district, the famous May Square, modern Puerto Madero and beautiful Recoleta district.

Day 10


Buenos Aires

It is your choice today to decide if you would like a day of leisure or take the optional full day tour to Estancia with a traditional BBQ for lunch.

Day 11


Buenos Aires

A half day group excursion will take you to the relaxing leisure area outside of Buenos Aires to Tigre Delta. For the afternoon you can choose to take the optional visit and dinner at a Tango Show.

Day 12


Buenos Aires - Iguassu

After your breakfast you will take a short flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival visit the Argentinean side of the falls at Devil’s Throat. Iguassu falls is the highest continuous falls in the world and a breathtaking vista.

Day 13


Iguassu

Yesterday you visited the Argentinean side of the falls. Today visit the Brazil side of this natural landscape. Here you will see the full scale of the falls.

Day 14


Iguassu - Rio de Janeiro

Travel day back to the city. Take a flight today from Iguassu to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 15


Rio de Janeiro

As an introduction to Rio de Janeiro today you will have a full day city sightseeing tour of this bustling metropolis. The tour will include the Sugar Loaf, Corcovado and you can choose to end the day with a Samba show.

Day 16


Rio de Janeiro

After an amazing 15 days you choose either to return to Santiago de Chile to complete the roundtrip of this tour or continue your tour in South America.
